Privacy policy.
This page explains how Simon Parker Therapy, PLLC handles information you provide through this website. It is deliberately short.
What this policy covers.
This policy covers the simonparker.com website and the information you choose to give us through it (for example, your name, email address, phone number, and a short message on the contact form).
Protected health information (PHI), meaning any information that arises during or about your clinical care, is handled under a separate, more detailed Notice of Privacy Practices that you receive before your first session. That notice governs your records, session notes, billing information, and anything you share with me in clinical context.
What we collect from the website.
We collect only what you choose to send us through the contact form or by emailing the practice directly. That may include your name, email address, phone number, state of residence, and a brief note about what is bringing you in.
We do not run third-party advertising or behavioural tracking on this site. If and when we add basic, privacy-respecting analytics (for example, to understand how many people visit the Fees page), this policy will be updated to say so before it goes live.
How we use it.
We use the information you send through the contact form only to respond to you and arrange a consultation. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with third parties for marketing, ever.
How we store it.
Contact form messages and any correspondence that follows are stored in the practice email account, which is protected by a strong unique password and two-factor authentication. Once you become a client, clinical communication moves to the secure SimplePractice client portal, which is a HIPAA-compliant platform covered by a Business Associate Agreement.
Cookies.
This website does not set cookies of its own. The Google Fonts service used to load typefaces may set standard technical cookies on its own domain; see Google's privacy policy for details.
Your rights.
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you from website contact, and to delete it. Email info@simonparker.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. Requests regarding clinical records are handled under the separate Notice of Privacy Practices and are subject to federal and state law.
Changes.
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date below. Material changes to how clinical information is handled are notified through the Notice of Privacy Practices.
